Consumer Education

Caring for your Baby

Understanding and recognizing the safety aspects of nursery products used by the children in their care is of paramount importance for parents, grandparents and carers. Young children and babies are not able to identify hazards when using nursery products and can therefore be exposed to injury from time to time.

The Consumer Education program is designed to support and inform consumers of safety aspects when choosing and using nursery products.

Significant components of program for consumers

  • Safe use of nursery products in the way intended
  • Awareness of hazards and potential risks
  • Up-to-date information on the Baby Safety website on safety alerts and warnings
  • Interaction with consumers through Expos and media events
  • Consumer advisory service

If you are a consumer and would like more information on the Baby Safety Program, please contact us. Details can be found on the Contact Us page.
