SAFETY Message

When using prams this summer remember to use the brakes when the pram is stationary, use tether straps when moving on uneven surfaces,always use the safety harness and NEVER leave a baby alone to sleep in their pram. Prams are not a replacement for a cot.

About Us

Established in 1997, INPAA is a not-for-profit organisation. INPAA is the peak national industry body and represents manufacturers, suppliers and retailers of infant & nursery products. Its primary objectives are to ensure the supply of safe products to the Australian market and to promote the best interests of its members.

INPAA is committed to the promotion of infant safety. The Association works closely with regulatory authorities, international affiliates and industry members to improve infant safety through the development of national product safety standards.

INPAA is supported by an Executive whose members comprise representatives from both large and small businesses in the industry, and a Secretariat. The technical work undertaken by INPAA is carried out by the Association's Technical Reference Group (TRG), a unique entity comprising the industry's leading technical experts.

Industry members supplying products under the Association's Baby Safety Program must conform to
an industry code of conduct.
